My Background
I have always had a desire to work in the visual arts, however I do enjoy all of the creative arts as well. While teaching for many years, I had the opportunity to experience all of the arts at many wonderful levels. All of the experiences have been an important part of my life's changing opportunities, now that I am retired .

I am currently using an open acrylic, for it's slower drying abilities. I do enjoy the joy of mixed media on occasion. I currently am working on deep format gallery wrapped canvas.

While these works may seem to be from different hands, they are in fact all mine.
Abstractions and landscapes are derived from personal recollections, paired with observations from nature, music and words.
Line color and rhythms are important in all of these works. A painting is not deemed completed until it "sings" to me.
